Sean’s Class: Tell Me a Story – Audiobook Narration Technique
• In this audiobook version of an acting class, you’ll have the opportunity to work on your narration skills in a group setting. Sean will provide you with various books/genres to work with and give feedback as well as insights into working as an audiobook narrator. If you’re looking to hone your skills or just want to see if audiobook narration is something you want to pursue, this class will give you an opportunity to have fun doing it. Topics that Sean may cover include: how to differentiate character voices from narrative; recognizing and interpreting the author’s voice; the demands of different book genres; research.
Craig’s Class: The Beginner’s Guide to Setting up a Home Studio on a Budget
• Are you missing out on voice over work because you can’t audition or record sessions from home? No idea where to start? Voice actor and award-winning radio creative director Craig Klein will guide the beginning and budget-conscious voice actor in setting up a studio at home. You’ll walk away from this session with an understanding of the factors you need to consider, both in terms of equipment and your studio environment, and with enough information to get you started.
